About
I help adults and adolescents with co-occurring substance use and anxiety/depression disorders find happiness and regain control of their lives. People I work with know that I feel compassion for them and believe I can help them find meaning and direction in their lives. My hope for my clients is for them to gain clarity in their lives and, in doing so, improve the lives of those around them.
You will find that I am welcoming and accepting. I connect with people of all faiths, cultures, and backgrounds using trust, kindness, attentiveness, and empathy. I bring warmth, humanity, and humor into relationships with my clients.

People benefit from working with me by feeling that they are heard and knowing that they have a partner helping them with their struggles and encouraging them to advocate for their needs. I provide clients with a calming influence to help them weather whatever storms they may be facing.
I find it rewarding to work with under-served populations: the mentally ill, those struggling with addiction and/or legal problems, and low-income clients. It is important for me to help instill a sense of empowerment in those who feel disadvantaged or let down by the societal systems that they had believed would support them.
